Time for Two’s is a program for children and their caregivers. Children in this program
attend with a caregiver and the caregiver must supervise their child and are invited to
take part with their child in the activities in the program.
The Time for Two’s experience is the first level of our program in what may become your child’s first of three years at
Lubov. We endeavor to provide a gentle and caring environment where your child will have
experiences that will provide an introduction to the classroom setting and routines and
help your child to develop a sense of trust and familiarity with the teachers.
This experience, even though it may only be once a week will see your child enter the next level
of the program with excitement and confidence. At this age, children can’t wait to start learning and playing along with new friends. In what may be their first group experience outside of home, children:
- Become accustomed to a classroom teacher, setting, and routine
- Have the opportunity to be with other children their own age and see other role models
- Have some special “me” time with their caregiver
- Develop language skills and new vocabulary
- Begin to learn to share and cooperate
- Experience a variety of age-appropriate toys and games
- Begin to create and develop self-expression through open-ended arts & craft experiences
- Learn songs and body movements
- Follow directions in a group setting
- Learn to take turns
- Develop their listening skills
- Have experience with a second language
